Target Qualifications

• •Proficient in yard management software (RMI, RSI, or ShipXpress).

Role Summary

Oversee daily railcar switching operations, supervise locomotive switch crews, and manage customer communications at industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• •Plan daily switching schedules (spotting, pulling, sorting, and blocking).
• •Manage locomotive engineers, conductors, and yard crew personnel.
• •Coordinate directly with host carrier dispatchers to align track occupancy.
• •Maintain clean yard inventories and report railcar status changes via client portals.

Target Qualifications

• •Extensive experience in industrial rail switching or short line railroad management.
• •Certified Locomotive Engineer or Conductor credentials (highly preferred).
• •Strong safety leadership record with detailed knowledge of FRA part regulations.
• •Excellent communication skills with site superintendents.

Role Summary

Experienced mobile railcar repairmen (multiple openings) performing hands-on freight-car repairs on-site across Central Alabama — diagnosing and fixing cars in the field rather than in a fixed shop. Reports to the Shop/Operations Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• •Perform mobile repairs on freight railcars at customer and interchange locations throughout Central Alabama.
• •Inspect, repair, and replace air brake systems and components.
• •Repair and replace couplers and knuckles.
• •Repair and replace brake gates and hatches.
• •Perform wheel set changeouts.
• •Diagnose defects and determine the appropriate repair method in the field.
• •Maintain repair tools and mobile equipment in good working order.
• •Complete accurate repair documentation and defect reports.
• •Follow all safety procedures and railroad operating rules while working trackside.

Target Qualifications

• •Minimum 3 years of experience as a railcar repairman or in freight-car mechanical repair.
• •Working knowledge of air brake systems, coupler/knuckle repair, and wheel set changeout.
• •Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• •Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and around active rail operations.
• •Valid driver's license.
• •Willingness to travel to job sites across Central Alabama.

Role Summary

Lead Alleanza's industrial switching operations and drive growth of the switching business — owning both the operational performance of the switching crews and the commercial relationships (Class I carriers and industrial shippers) that bring in new work. Reports to the COO.

Key Responsibilities

• •Direct day-to-day switching operations across assigned sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and service reliability.
• •Supervise and develop switching crew supervisors and personnel — hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• •Enforce FRA and company safety standards and maintain compliance with operating rules.
• •Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues with rail carrier partners and shipper customers.
• •Identify and pursue new industrial switching contract opportunities.
• •Build and maintain relationships with Norfolk Southern, CSX, and other Class I carriers to support contract growth and referrals.
• •Develop relationships directly with industrial shippers and prospective customers to expand the switching customer base.
• •Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service scopes for new business.
• •Track market opportunities and competitive activity in the switching space.

Target Qualifications

• •Minimum 7-10 years of experience in railroad operations, with direct experience in industrial or contract switching.
• •Proven track record managing train-operations personnel, including crew supervision and scheduling.
• •Demonstrated success in business development, contract negotiation, or account growth within the rail industry.
• •Working knowledge of FRA regulations and railroad safety standards.
• •Established relationships with Class I carriers strongly preferred.
• •Strong communication and leadership skills.
• •Willingness to travel to customer sites and operating locations as needed.
